Casa Mango Tango is a riverfront property set in the tree tops of a Guanacaste Canopy in Rancho Playa Negra gated community. Enjoy the natural wildlife of monkeys, exotic birds, iguanas and red-tailed squirrels, while being just a short walk to the beach where you can find a world class surf break, dining, yoga and beautiful sunsets.

The home offers 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, chef’s custom kitchen, AC and ceiling fans in every room, wi-fi, internet, 2 satellite flat screen tv’s, washer and dryer, stainless steel BBQ, pool, private parking, locally made art work and teak/gaunacaste furniture throughout.

Upstairs there are two queen bedrooms with balconies, one updated bathroom, custom kitchen with balcony, large dining table and the main living area.

Downstairs there are two adjoining queen bedrooms both with a beautiful bathroom suite. Each have separate entrances and opens to the large patio and pool.  First and Second floors are not connected.

The first floor two bedrooms have luxury mattresses, recycled wood bedframes, and Guanacaste/teak wood armoires.

You We are a phone call or email away to answer home questions or help with directions, or an trusted employee if we're away.

BEACHES: Through the gated ocean-front community, stroll 4 minutes on palm and hibiscus lined paths to a small secluded beach with snorkeling and 8-10 minutes walk to Playa Negra Reef Break, Sandy White Swimming Beach and Open-Air Restaurant and bar. It is a short 10 Minute Drive to Playa Avellanas North (White Sand, Reef/ Sand Surfing, Restaurant), and 15 minutes drive to Playa Junquillal South (Black Sand, Beach Break surfing, Great for Kids) or lots of other great beaches we'll share about too!

ACTIVITIES: Playa Negra is a perfect casual beach town to relax or to explore Guanacaste through day trips. Our home is just 18 minutes to Zip-Line, ATV and horse-back tours, 20 Minutes to Hacienda Pinella Beach Club and Spa, 35 minutes to Tamarindo for shopping, 1.15 hr to Costa Rica's Diria National Park and Waterfall, 1.15 hr to Playa Flamingo & Playa Conchal and Portero, 1 hr to Guatil Pottery, 2 hrs to Africa Mia and just under 3 hours to Rincon De La Viejo or Guachipelin (canopy tour, river tubing, waterfalls, horse back rides & hot spring mud baths).

LOCAL DINING: Playa Negra has 8+ great restaurants in town, including Peruvian fusion at Cafe Playa Negra, Beach-front seafood on the wood grill at Hotel Playa Negra, amazing sandwiches and baked goods at Cafe La Ventana, Excellent fish tacos at Jalapenos, tropical dishes at Pura Vida Pizzeria, yummy traditional fare at Bar Latina, even an amazing 5 star chef with a large wine cellar at Villa Deevena.

IN TOWN ACTIVITIES: In Los Pargos, a 3-4 minute drive from Mango Tango enjoy: yoga classes, SUP paddle-board lessons & bike tours (Los Pargos Adventures), Surfboard and Snorkel Rentals, 2 surf shops, ding repair, 2 tiny art galleries (check out Coopwood's amazing surf art at Cafe La Ventana!).
