COVID 2020 Update. PNVR is responding to the changes and needs of the times to protect our guests. It is our mission to continue to offer safe, stress free, and relaxing vacations in Playa Negra.
During this unprecedented time we have been working hard with guests to refund or reschedule stays when needed. We stopped renting homes as of March 22nd, 2020 so there have been no new rentals since that time.
As we move forward and when Costa Rican borders open we will be working hard to keep homes clean and safe for guests. This includes thorough cleaning of frequently touched items. Examples of high-touch surfaces include tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, handrails, light switches, remotes, wardrobe and cabinet handles, desks, toilets, sinks, bedside tables, and kitchen and bathroom surfaces. All linens and towels will be washed in high temperature water. All homes will be supplied with ample cleaning products and paper towels for clients use. Homes are also cleaned and sprayed with disinfectant after each guest's departure.
We are also allowing 24 hours between when guests check out of a house until new guests check in.
PNVR will be updating and changing cleaning protocols when necessary. If clients have any special requests, we will do our best to accommodate them. Please feel free to ask us any questions.

An amazing oceanfront experience awaits you at Castillo Del Mar which sits on the Pacific Ocean! Castillo Del Mar offers an amazing mix of indoor and outdoor living that is all under the same roof. This ocean inspired furnished home takes full advantage of the incredible coastline and offers world class views from the second, third and fourth levels which include an incredible roof top deck.
As you enter this ocean front home through its main entrance on the second floor, you are greeted by a second story indoor/outdoor pool and an open living area. There, you will find an outdoor BBQ and bar area with a small refrigerator. You can find a place in and out of the sun to spend your day enjoying the sound of the ocean and enjoying the refreshing pool.
The second floor also features three bedrooms, and three baths. Two of the bedrooms look directly out onto the pool and the ocean beyond. Bedroom 1 has either two twins or these can be converted to a king with an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has either two twins or these can be converted to a king and use of the pool side water closet and stand up shower. The third bedroom on the second floor is an ocean front suite which features a king size bed and has its own bathroom and sitting area. This sitting area includes full size sofa bed for larger families or groups.
The third floor has a spacious living room, a full kitchen and dining area, all facing the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. This floor also has its own ocean front master suite with a king size bed with its own full bathroom. All rooms feature private decks that look out toward the ocean or to the mountains.
The fourth floor, or roof top, is a full sized deck for sunset watching, amazing star gazing and a perfect place for gatherings with friends and family. There is also a comfortable covered area for day time relaxation. You are able to see the world class surf break at Playa Negra from this roof top deck.
The first floor, or ground level, offers a large two car garage, laundry room, and outdoor shower area.
Private and secure, Castillo del Mar is located in Rancho Playa Negra one of Costa Rica’s finest gated communities.
